Students from UBC SCARP attended the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development in Quito in October 2016. Their findings were also presented at the 2016 PHRN Symposium on Housing Research in BC.
For the Habitat conference exhibition space, UBC SCARP students created four very engaging posters that explore the evolution of four themes since Habitat ’76 in Vancouver, including: housing policy and form in Canada, housing policy and form internationally, governance, and impacts to Habitat host cities.
